Staying in a cottage at TanumStrand is a perfect holiday option for thefamily or friends. All cottages are self-catering and are within easy walking distance to restaurant, SPA, family pool and playgrounds. Several have sea views and some of the cabins are located right on the waterfront. Are you overnight guests at TanumStrand you have the opportunity to freely participate in the hotel’s Yoga / workout and go to the gym. Family activities with SeaClub are also free for all holidaymakers.

Final cleaning is included. Bed linen and towels are available for booking if you choose not to bring your own. Remember to bring consumable items such as toilet paper, dish soap, etc. Cottage guests have a discount on the price for the family bath. (Entrance is not free)

Nearby excursions
Take a stroll and enjoy the fresh, salty sea air and beautiful sea views. The seafront is delightful and Grebbestads genuine fishing port is only 20 min away by foot. We also recommend a small drive to Fjällbacka, the home of author Camilla Läckbergs criminal novels. A trip to the Tjurpannan nature reserve is only a 15 minutes drive from us and offers a breathtaking view all year round. At Vitlycke Museum, 10 min from TanumStrand you can see the famous rock carvings, a historic world-class experience. In winter time, Vitlycke is closed, but your can walk around and watch the exciting rock caves by your self.

Here at TanumStrand we often arrange training sessions and other fun activities that you can attend when visiting us. Our calendar, which for now only is available in Swedish, displays all events in and around TanumStrand. With help of the pictures and a translation app, you will still easily get the general idea of what it is about.
We have two gyms on TanumStrand, an obstacle course outdoors and a swimming pool, Stora Blå, which you have free entrance to throughout your stay (except during the summer season when a fee applies). If you want to borrow Nordic Walking poles, it is available at the reception. Bikes, adventure golf, small boats etc. are available for rent during the summer season.
