Oysters & Gin – two of our local prides

Oysters and gin are a perfect combination and at Tanumstrand we have the luxury of having access to both locally picked world-class oysters and locally produced quality gin!

In collaboration with Klemmings Ostron and Smugha Bränneri, we proudly present a wonderful afternoon in Sjöboden Udden on Saturday, March 28 at 15.00-16.30, where you will learn to open oysters and taste different combinations of gin and oysters.

What will you experience?

  1. Welcome drink – specially designed for this event.
  2. Local oyster expert Claes Persson guides you through the world of Grebbestad oysters
  3. Niklas Vajking from Smugha Gin talks about their journey to reach the gin market.
  4. The winner of Sweden’s Master Chef 2025 Linnea Järnrot has developed a vinaigrette on Smugha Cask
    Gin, just for this occasion!

  • Pre-drink with Smugha Gin
  • 6 oysters with accessories
  • Tasting of Smugha’s range (Soldimma 01, Mareld 02, Sjörök 03 and Cask Gin 2025)
