Food & drink

Our restaurants - summertime

At TanumStrand there are several restaurants to choose from, whether you want to enjoy seafood, a good pizza or something cool by the beach.

Latitud 58° Restaurant (starting June 19) – breakfast and dinner – open 7:00 a.m.–10:30 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.–10:00 p.m.

Breakfast buffet, evening à la carte menu, and dinner buffet with a view of the sea.

Last year’s hit is back: Deluxe Breakfast from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. (starting June 27)

For those over 16 who want a more luxurious breakfast with a menu, table service, sea views and a quieter environment at DockSide/BeachClub. Purchased but included for everyone with a SPA package.

Sjöboden Udden – Lunch and dinner from 12:00 PM to 10:00 PM (starting June 15)

Pizzas with an extra touch & relaxed atmosphere on the pier at the bottom of the sea.

Dockside Beachclub – Bar, lunch, and early dinner. The bar is open from 12:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. (Friday, June 19, through Sunday, August 9

Nice hangout with drinks, food menu, music, sun beds overlooking the sea and the marina.

Lobby bar – bar open 11.00 until late. Food menu available 12.00-18.00.

Comfortable seating, shuffleboard, bar and space to play games, lobby and chill.

Café Vita Villan 9:00 a.m.–9:00 p.m. (June 19–August 9)

Starbucks coffee, coffee and pastries, sourdough toast, ice cream from Lejonet and Björnen, and mini-golf rentals.

SPA & Bath

SPA Horizon open at 09.00-20.00

Age limit of 16

A place of total relaxation with hot pools, several types of saunas and refreshing sea baths. Here you can enjoy the peace, warmth and stunning views of the archipelago. You book your entrance on our website or come by the reception on site. SPA entrance is included in the SPA package.

The Stora Blå Family Pool is open from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. (closed for cleaning from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.)

There is no age restriction, but children under 14 are asked to be accompanied by an adult. There is no lifeguard on duty.

Exercise class 7:00–9:00 a.m. – Must be 16 or older.

Perfect for the whole family, with plenty of space for play, swimming, and fun. Experience the thrilling water slide or take a fun dip together in the large pool. An admission wristband is required, and you pay the admission fee at the front desk. Admission tickets are available for the morning (9:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m.) or the afternoon (3:00 p.m.–9:00 p.m.). Admission is included in the Maxed Summer Vacation Package.

Summer activities & experiences

We have lots to do for both young and old!

Enjoy the ocean on a SUP or a small motorboat. Contact the front desk to rent one.
Training sessions week 27-31 at 09.00.
– Wednesdays: Yoga 50 min.

– Friday Exercise session: 40 min.

– The sessions are led by instructors from Tedactive gym

– Price: 60 SEK (free for hotel guests and Tedactive gym members)

– Drop in. Meet at the hotel reception 10 minutes before the start of the session.
KidsZone June 27–August 8, 11:00 a.m.–9:00 p.m. Fun and games at the Skagerrak Event Hall. Bouncy castles, table tennis, and soccer goals. Admission is 65 SEK per person. Admission is included for guests who have booked the summer vacation package.
Crafts in the lobby for children from 15.00-17.00.
Games & Activities – Mini golf, beach volleyball, obstacle course, tennis, playground and more. Please ask our staff.
Take a canoeing course with the adventure company Ut i det fri. Courses available July 6, 13, 20. See under the event calendar
Excursions in the immediate area – Tjurpannan, Kosterhavet, rock carvings & cozy fishing villages.

Shops & marina

Saltvik - a summer shop with a difference.

Pop-up shop along the harbor promenade next to Närbutiken.

Here you will find furnishings with history, handmade ceramics from Italy, truffles from Croatia, and clothes.

SPA Horisont shop

A cozy shop on the harbor promenade.

Open every day during the period: June 27 to August 9 from 10.00-20.00

Here you can book a treatment at SPA Horisont, buy face cream, sun products, various types of hygiene products and much more in beauty. Treat yourself to a gift or get a summer gift for someone you love. Here you can also book SPA entrance, buy season tickets or 10 cards SPA entrance.

Try a FISHSPA – dip your feet or hands and let small fish of the species Garra rufa, which is a cyprinid fish, nibble away the skin on your feet without teeth. The cuticles are polished and the dead skin cells disappear. Blood circulation is increased in the legs and feet and a pleasant “tingling” sensation is experienced during treatment.

The convenience store

On the hotel side facing the harbor, you will find the small convenience store with most of what you need!

Freshly baked rolls and buns for breakfast, juices and spreads, laundry detergent, diapers, toothpaste, sunscreen, toilet paper, crabmeat, sweets and snacks and much more.

The store is run by the company NearbyStore and you can also shop there through the NearbyStore app for faster and more convenient pick-up of your groceries.

Hours: 8:00 a.m.–8:00 p.m. every day. May stay open later if necessary.

Port services!

You can contact us if you have any questions about our port. Since our harbor masters are usually out in the harbor helping out, you can reach the harbor master most easily at Telephone: +46 – (0)525 19175

Unmanned times you will be connected to our hotel reception.

For payment of port fees, use the Dockspot app that you can easily download from the appstore or google play store, or we have a vending machine, which is located on the wall near the port entrance towards the reception. The ticket is valid from 12.00 on the day of arrival and is valid until 12.00 on the day of departure.

The port service is staffed June 19+20+21 and June 26 to August 9 from 09.00 to 17.00
