Stora Blå family pool
Stora Blå is our family pool with an indoor swimming pool built on an inclined plane, a 25-meter slide, a whirlpool and a shallow section for the little ones. During the summer months there is also an outdoor swimming pool.
The changing rooms have saunas, showers and lockers. The bath cannot be pre-booked but is drop in subject to availability.
The swimming pool is 27-28 degrees, perfect for swimming and playing. For relaxation we recommend the warmer whirlpool.
Diapered children must wear a swim diaper, which can be purchased from us. The pool is unmanned without a lifeguard, so all bathing takes place under the supervision of a guardian.
If you have booked accommodation with breakfast only, entrance to Stora Blå is not included, but tickets can easily be purchased on site at the reception.
If you have booked an overnight package, admission is included from week 33 until midsummer.
During the summer period (Midsummer – week 32) all guests pay admission to Stora Blå.
Self-catering cottage guests always have a discount on the entrance fee.
Here you can use your wellness allowance. Fitness swimming is available from 7-9am every morning and when purchasing a monthly/season pass, the hotel gym is always included.
Opening hours
Every day 09.00 – 21.00
Last admission is one hour before closing time, i.e. at 20.00.
During the summer period and some holidays, the bath closes for cleaning at 14-15. You also buy admission for the morning or afternoon and a wristband is valid.

Well-being rules in Big Blue
- Shower thoroughly with soap before putting on swimwear and entering the pool area.
- Non-swimmers must be accompanied by a competent adult.
- Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult or guardian.
- Children must not be left unattended, and play is supervised by parents
- Swimwear is compulsory, even for small children.
- Diving is not allowed
- Do not run, the floor may be slippery.
- Smoking is not allowed
- Food brought in is not allowed to be consumed on our premises.
- Follow the rules for the water slide and the whirlpool.
