Sjöboden Udden

At the far end of the pier all year round you will find Sjöboden Udden. Charming boathouse style inside and a fantastic terrace with the sea right outside. Come for some extra luxurious pizza with an extra touch for both adults and children.

How about burrata, oyster mushrooms, truffle salami, onion roe…

On Saturdays (not during the summer) they cook live crayfish to order and have fresh oysters caught right outside in the sea. Enjoy with a glass of bubbly and watch the sunset.

Crayfish boil and oysters

All Saturdays from 14.00 to 17.00

Always closed during the summer period midsummer to week 32. Oysters start every year on Oyster Day in September.

Crayfish boil in Sjöboden by the sea – a beloved tradition on TanumStrand.
Experience an authentic Bohuslän crayfish boil on the jetty and taste freshly caught crayfish that are cooked on the jetty to salty delicacies when ordered.

Two freshly caught and cooked lobsters and a glass of bubbly, 295 SEK/person

A Grebbestads oyster and a glass of bubbly, SEK 235/person

Drop-in only.

We serve high quality fresh oysters and crayfish picked and caught by local fishermen, therefore there may be a few dates per year that we do not receive delivery.

We also reserve the right to run out of crayfish and oysters during serving time in case of high demand.

Larger groups and companies

We organize crayfish boils on request for both individuals and companies. The activity is adapted to the group size and can be experienced by both you as a small group with a few and up to 40 people at a time. Contact us for more information and booking.
