Come celebrate the start of 2027 with us at TanumStrand—where the sea meets the party!

Leave the stress at home and give yourself a New Year you will never forget – filled with joy, community and wonderful experiences by the sea. Bring your family, friends or loved ones and enjoy the last and first days of the year in magical surroundings.

For dog owners, we have special pet rooms, you contact us by email or phone to book these rooms. Pets are not allowed in our restaurant, bath and SPA. Outdoors there are cozy walking paths with pets.

Just a New Year’s Eve dinner?

At this time, it is not possible to reserve a table for the New Year’s Eve dinner without an overnight stay. As the date approaches, we will open table reservations based on availability. Stay tuned.

The accommodation package includes:

Overnight stay with large breakfast buffet and omelette chef
Glass of bubbly before dinner on New Year's Eve
Seafood buffet in the evening if you arrive on December 30; four-course New Year's Eve dinner on New Year's Eve.
Free entrance to Stora Blå and gym during the whole stay
Cozy atmosphere all evening and DJ to end the evening on New Year's Eve.
Outdoor fire show at 24:00 on New Year's Eve.

New Year's Eve - A day full of experiences!

Spend the last day of the year enjoying the family’s favorites at Stora Blå, or book a visit to SPA Horisont
Take a stroll down to Sjöboden Udden for a crayfish feast, oysters, sparkling wine, and some warming soup.
Don't miss the New Year's dip at 14.00 on the pier. Buy bubbles and a nice cold bathing cap for the perfect start to the new year!
In the evening, a 4-course New Year's Eve supper, bubbles in the glass and DJ await.

ATTENTION! We’re skipping the fireworks—for the environment, for the animals, and for a cozier atmosphere. Instead, we’ll raise a toast with you, our guests, watch an outdoor fire show, and count down to midnight.

New Year's Day - Start the year at your own pace

Take a winter walk along the coast
Visit Sjöboden Udden to celebrate the biggest pizza day of the year.

Every day:

Familjebadet Stora Blå - open 09.00-21.00 - drop in subject to availability.
SPA Horisont is open from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. and until 11:00 p.m. on New Year's Day—just drop in, or make a reservation if you want to secure your spot at the spa or a treatment time.
A small, unstaffed playroom is available at the hotel every day.

Please note that all play in the playroom and the pool is at your own risk, as these areas are unattended. Adults are responsible for their children.

January 1: Three-course dinner from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.

Sjöboden Udden - pizza with a special touch

Dec. 30 - Open 12:00 p.m.–9:00 p.m.
Dec. 31—Open from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. with pizza, and starting at 2:00 p.m., hot soup, crayfish, and hot chocolate.
Jan. 1 – Open from 12:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
