Housekeeping Manager 100% position – Temporary from March – December 2026
We are looking for you with experience in managing staff in a structured and orderly manner.
You are a good leader who understands people with diversity and a multicultural environment, and who gives confidence that everyone is seen.
You should have a good financial understanding and be very quality conscious.
You should have an eye for both the big picture and details to work both practically and theoretically.
You are good at welcoming, training, leading, and following up on daily operations, as well as smaller projects that are both short-term and long-term in time.
You need to be orderly and create good structure for your entire department.
You see communication with your staff and also with other departments as a matter of course to make everything work.
We would like you to have extensive previous experience of working in similar workplaces with great responsibility.
Fluency in spoken and written Swedish and English is an absolute requirement. Other languages are an advantage.
What does your work involve?
Total responsibility for all cleaning of the entire facility (hotel rooms, cabins, conference rooms, SPA, and baths, restaurant, reception and lobby)
Purchasing for your department
Finances for your department
Scheduling for your department
Training for your department
Ensure that furnishings and interiors are in order and follow up.
Your immediate superior to whom you report is the Hotel Manager.

Who are we?
TanumStrand hotel and resort is a resort in Grebbestad, right on the shore of the Fjällbacka archipelago. The hotel has been around since the mid-80s and is privately owned by the Norwegian Adolphsen group.
The facility has undergone several expansions and renovations and today has 155 hotel rooms, 99 cottages, 250 berths, 13 conference rooms, a large event hall for up to 1000 people, SPA, family pool, several restaurants and a large outdoor area that has space for training, playground, parkour course, tennis court, mini golf and much more.
By 2026, the facility will be on a new journey with the expansion of the lobby/reception, 12 new hotel rooms and upgraded outdoor areas.
As TanumStrand is in continuous development, there may be opportunities for work even after December 2026.
