TanumStrand is located on the west coast of Sweden between Oslo and Gothenburg in the Fjällbacka and Grebbestad archipelago surrounded by the Skagerrak and the beautiful Bohuslän nature. You can get here and dock or park by car, motorcycle, boat and kayak.

Car & Motorcycle
When driving along the E6, take Exit 106 and follow the signs toward Grebbestad. Drive through Grebbestad, and 2 kilometers south of the coastal village, you’ll see Sportshopen’s large store. There, turn right, following the signs toward TanumStrand.
Parking space
There are ample parking facilities in the area. Parking is only available in marked areas. There are several parking lots at each cottage village, and at the hotel.
There is a small parking fee payable via the website www.pair.se/go Instructions are available at the parking lot.
Please note that you don’t download an app ; instead, you scan the QR code with your phone’s camera to go to a website.
If you have pre-booked and paid for your parking when you made your room reservation, simply go to the front desk upon arrival and provide your license plate number, and we will enter it into the payment system.
Charging stations for electric cars are available for a fee through the PAIR RECHARGE app. You’ll find the charging stations along the wall facing the Skagerrak event hall, near the hotel. Once your car is fully charged, please move it so that others who need to charge can use the stations.
Bus & Train
Västtrafik has bus lines that take you to Tanum Shoppingcenter. There you change to a bus that goes to Grebbestad. Then it’s a 20-minute walk to TanumStrand. If you travel by train, the nearest train station is Tanum.
Kayak
At the far end of the marina there are specific parking spaces for kayaks where you can moor your kayak and lock it up while you enjoy a good meal, a spa or one of the other activities at the destination.
Boat & Watercraft
It is easy to find our guest harbor and there are many good apps to navigate with at sea. We can highly recommend downloading “Eniro På Sjön” or similar. TanumStrand’s guest harbor is marked there.
