Do you want to lead and develop the culinary expression of one of Bohuslän’s most attractive destinations? We are looking for a committed and strategic Executive Chef with both operational drive and administrative strength.

With us, the dining experience is a central part of the overall experience – from à la carte and banquets to conferences, BeachClub and spa guests. As Executive Chef, you are responsible for the operation, quality, profitability and continued development of the kitchen. The role is part of the hotel’s management team and reports to the COO.

Work tasks

Operational responsibility

  • Leading and participating in the daily kitchen operations
  • Ensuring high quality, presentation and guest experience
  • Menu development with a focus on seasonality, local ingredients and profitability
  • Organize banquets, conferences and major events
  • Ensure compliance with hygiene, self-monitoring and health and safety requirements

The work includes day, evening and weekend work.

Administrative responsibility

  • Budget and performance responsibility for the kitchen department
  • Costing, cost control and optimization of consumption of goods
  • Human resources responsibility for recruitment, staffing and staff development
  • Supplier contacts and purchasing responsibilities
  • Strategic development of the kitchen concept and position
We are looking for you who
  • Have experience as Sous Chef, Chef de Cuisine or Executive Chef
  • Has good experience in operations and financial management
  • Is a confident, inspiring and structured leader
  • Is quality conscious and solution oriented
  • Passionate about seasonal ingredients and modern Nordic gastronomy
  • Speaks and writes fluent English and has an understanding of Swedish and/or Norwegian
  • Has strong guest focus and good business understanding
