Cancellation and rescheduling policy
With us you always book safely with favorable rebooking and cancellation policies.
Cancellation conditions vary depending on the type of accommodation you have booked, which you can read more about below.
If you booked via our website, you can use the booking number you received in your confirmation and log in under the “Book button”. If you booked by phone or e-mail, please contact bokning@tanumstrand.se.
When booking a hotel room & hotel cabin
If you have chosen the booking “Bed & Breakfast – non-refundable”, the accommodation can be canceled but without refund.
If you have chosen to book “Room & Breakfast”, you have free both cancellation and rebooking until 18.00 the day before arrival. In case of cancellation, you pay 0: – if you cancel or rebook in time.
If you cancel after 18.00, you only need to pay for the first day.
When booking a package (when dinner and SPA are included)
If you cancel earlier than 5 days before arrival, we only keep an administration fee of 200 SEK per person.
If you cancel later than 5 days before arrival, we keep 100% of the booking amount.
Cancellation insurance costs 100 SEK per person. This means that you can cancel up to the day before arrival for a handling fee of 200 SEK per person plus the cost of the cancellation insurance.
The latest time to cancel is 18:00.
When booking a self-catering cottage
For self-catering cottages the rules below apply – for hotel cottages the same rules apply as hotel rooms/packages.
For cottage 1-3 nights:
If you cancel earlier than 14 days before arrival, we will retain an administration fee of 500:-
If you buy cancellation insurance for SEK 300, you can cancel up to the day before arrival for an administration fee of SEK 500
If you cancel later than 14 days before arrival and do not have cancellation insurance, 100% of the amount will be charged
If you have already paid more than you owe, we will refund the difference immediately.
The latest time to cancel is 18:00.
For cottage 4 and more nights:
If you cancel earlier than 30 days before arrival, we will retain an administration fee of 500
If you buy cancellation insurance for 400:-, you can cancel up to the day before arrival for an administration fee of 500:-.
If you cancel later than 14 days before arrival and do not have cancellation insurance, 100% of the amount will be charged
If you have already paid more than you owe, we will refund the difference immediately.
The latest time to cancel is 18:00.
Cancellation insurance
Price: SEK 300 for 1-3 nights and SEK 400 for 4 nights or more, per cabin. This means that you can cancel up to the day before the agreed arrival, but the fee for the cancellation insurance and administration fee will not be refunded in case of cancellation.
